PAC-NL

The post- acute care certified nurse leader program (PAC-NL) signifies your passion and mastery of key concepts to be successful as a Director of Nurses (DON) or Nurse leader in the post-acute care environment. Our curriculum focuses on leadership training, quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI), survey preparedness, strategies for decreasing re-admissions, ethics, staffing strategies among others. PAC-NL certification also includes the opportunity for the nurse Leader to receive ongoing support, mentorship and networking from other nursing directors and nurse leaders.  The increasing demands of the post-acute environment requires nurse leaders with the key nursing and operational competencies to lead a diverse team.
Our program has been reviewed and approved by the Rory Myers School of Nursing and awards 15 continuing education units (CEU’S) after successful completion.


PAC-RN

The PAC-RN program is designed to provide the core knowledge required for safe and quality care in the post-acute care environment. All RN’s in the post-acute care setting must strive for the PAC-RN credentials.  Certification demonstrates both the nurses’ and organizations’ commitment to the provision of quality care within the organization.
Our program has been reviewed and approved by the Rory Myers School of Nursing and awards 30 continuing education units (CEU’S) after successful completion.
All post-acute care organizations must strive to provide their RN’s with the the PAC-RN certification.


PAC-CSE

The Post-Acute Care Certified Staff Educator course (PAC-CSE) is a comprehensive training and certification program for healthcare industry novices & experts in the area of staff education. This program is essential for staff responsible for the learning needs of their team. Participants will learn the principles of adult learning, program development and design, and foundational curriculum for the post-acute care setting. Upon successful completion of the program, staff will be able to lead staff development and training within their organization. Our program has been reviewed and approved by the Rory Myers School of Nursing and awards 10 continuing education units (CEU’S) after successful completion.


PAC-DC

The PAC-DC curriculum includes a full spectrum of training in dementia care. This program is available to clinical staff (Social workers, Recreational Therapist, Dietitians, Nurses, Chaplaincy) within the post-acute care setting. Additionally, you’ll be provided with tools you need as you navigate the PAC environment as a trained Dementia Professional.

This program is an excellent addition to growing Memory Care Programs, Memory Care Units and members of your organization’s Dementia Care steering committees.
