Post-Acute Care Dementia Certified Course

The PAC-DC credentials signifies your passion and mastery of key concepts to be successful as a Dementia trained staff in the post-acute care environment.

 

Our program is robust, peer reviewed and has been endorsed by nurse leaders/nursing directors, medical directors and state surveyors as the premier training for staff caring for dementia residents. Additionally, our program has been reviewed and approved by the Nation Institute for Dementia Education.

Target Audience

This training is intended for all members of the interdisciplinary team. Registered Nurses (RN’S), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Administrators, Directors of Nurses (DON”S), Social Workers, Activities professionals, Rehabilitative staff, and anyone who works directly with Dementia residents in Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Facilities, Continued Care Retirement Communities (CCRC’S) and home Care and hospice.

Our program has been peer reviewed and endorsed by Nurse Leaders/Nursing Directors, Medical Directors, state surveyors, as the premier dementia program for staff in the post-acute care setting.

Requirements for Certification

To obtain the certification attendees must  

  • Currently, work in the post-acute care environment as a health professional. (environmental staff and Nurse aides do not qualify)
  • Minimum of 2 years in the field of Dementia
  • Complete the course and pass examination
  • Annual Renewal (fee required)

Certification

After successful completion of the course, attendee will be allowed to use the designation of Post-Acute Care Dementia Certified (PAC-DC).

Continuing Education
