Post-Acute Care Nurse Leader Course
The PAC-NL credentials signifies your passion and mastery of key concepts to be successful as a nurse leader in the post-acute care environment. Our curriculum includes leadership training, QAPI, survey preparedness, readmissions, ethics amongst others. PAC-NL Certification also includes the opportunity for the Nurse Leader to receive ongoing support, mentorship and networking from other Nurse Leaders in Post Acute Care. The increasing demands of the PAC environment requires nurse leaders who are well versed in standards and both knowledgeable and able to lead a diverse team.
The Post-Acute Care Certified NL (PAC-NL) course is a robust and comprehensive program for nurse leaders at the post-acute care setting. The PAC-NL curriculum was designed as a training for the chief nursing/clinical officer, director of nursing or any nurse aspiring for a leadership position in the post-acute care setting. The training includes a full spectrum of training in clinical areas and provides practical examples with each module. Additionally, you will be provided tools such as an electronic workbook and resources to help you promote efficiency and provide quality outcomes for our residents.
The Post-Acute Care Certified NL (PAC-NL) Interactive E-Workbook
The E-Workbook is interactive and is available electronically. The E-Workbook contains supplemental materials and resources to take note, reflect on your understanding, and use in your practice. It also contains a resource section with worksheets and other reference materials that help a nurse leader in their daily work. There may be questions to help students test their knowledge as they prepare for the certification exam following all modules. Each slide of the Course contains references to the E-Workboo and the student would click on a link as they are working through the Course modules, and they will be taken to the exact location of the information in the E-Workbook.

Requirements for Certification
To obtain the certification and 15 CEUs the attendee must hold:
- An active and encumbered RN license within a state or territory of the United States of America.
- Complete the course.
- Annual renewal and re-certification fee to maintain certification is required.
After successful completion of the course, attendee will be allowed to use the designation of Post-Acute Care Certified Nurse Leader (PAC-NL).
