The Post-Acute Care Certified RN (PAC-RN) course is the only foundational program you need to be successful in your role as an RN at the post-acute care setting.  The PAC-RN program is made up of a robust curriculum which includes a full spectrum of training in clinical areas and provides practical examples with each module. Additionally, you will be provided tools and resources to promote efficiency and provide quality outcomes for our residents.

Our program has been peer reviewed and endorsed by Nursing Directors/Nurse Leaders, state surveyors, and RNs as the premier program for RNs working in the Post-Acute Care setting. 

Target Audience

This training is intended for all Registered Nurses (RN) including new graduates, seasoned RN’S, RN’s returning to nursing practice after a long leave of absence, Hospital based RN’s who desire a career in the post-acute care environment. If you are an RN working in the Hospital, Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Long Term Acute Care Hospitals (LTACH), Assisted Living Facilities (ALF), Home Care and Hospice, this is the right program for you.

Requirements for Certification

To obtain the certification and 30 CEUs the attendee must hold 

  • An active and encumbered RN license within a state or territory of the United States of America.

  • Complete the course and pass the examination.

  • Annual renewal and re-certification fee to maintain certification is required.

Certification

After successful completion of the course, attendee will be allowed to use the designation of Post-Acute Care Certified RN (PAC-RN).

Continuing Education

After successful completion of curriculum and examination, attendee will receive 30 CEU’s which can be used towards the renewal of their nursing license
